Aloha travel lovers! It’s been a long long time that I want to write this post. Also, the fact that most of the questions that I get asked are about gear has made that I finally sit down and get some words together to share with you my «best kept secret». A.k.a. what’s inside my bag.

Before you continue reading this post, let me tell you that is a super «techy» post, so if you are not very much into technology you might get a bit bored.

Whenever I travel I like to get some info about the places I’ll be visiting. There are tons of blogs that I like to read and keep up with and one of the things that I like the most is to read and discover what type of gear and stuff the backpackers and world wanderers that I get inspired with use on their adventures.

I decided to sum up in a list all (or almost all) the gear that I use when I travel (or whenever I do small nature expeditions) that perhaps will be useful for you when you’ll be deciding about getting something new or if it’s worth it after all.

Beforehand I’d like to make a disclaimer: this is a simple list of objects that I own. That doesn’t mean that this is the best gear that you can find nor the latest one. Also, something very important to mention is that all the things I own I almost never (in fact I actually have never brought) bring all of them. I do own many things (sometimes too many from my point of view) that have, most of them either been given to me (won, for example in competitions) or inherited by some family members.

Even though I love being a backpacker and the philosophy behind it (you know, less is more and that kind of stuff) there are some expensive items that I own. I don’t like going cheap in some of them.
