10 Fotos que te harán querer ir a la Kasbah Taourit (Marruecos).
Hace ya poco más de un año, Gi y yo decidimos pasar 5 días en Marruecos para celebrar la vida y también mi cumpleaños. Hicimos un tour por varias ciudades, pero nuestra base era siempre Marrakech. En nuestra obligada visita al desierto del Sáhara, cruzamos por varias ciudades, una de ellas Ouarzazate, con su gran Kasbah Taourit.
A bit more than a year ago, Gi and I decided to spend 5 days in Morocco, to celebrate life and also my birthday. We did a tour through several cities but our base was always Marrakech. On our «mandatory» visit to the Sahara Desert, we crossed several cities, one of them Ouarzazate, with its impressive Kasbah Taourit.
Si ves que te suena de algo esta foto (la hice yo, lo prometo) es porque Ouarzazate (ciudad a la que pertenece la Kasbah Taourit) es conocida como el Hollywood de Marruecos. Muchísimas películas se han grabado en la región, Gladiator entre alguna de ellas.
If you see that the picture looks familiar (I took it, I promise) is because Ouarzazate (city that Kasbah Taourit belongs to) is known as the Morroco’s Hollywood. Many many movies have been filmed in the region, Gladiator is among them.
Es una ciudad Ouarzazate en la que sólo pasamos unas horas (estábamos de paso, íbamos hacia el desierto) y que creo que tiene mucho potencial. De hecho, Ouarzazate se conoce como la Puerta del Desierto.
La Kashbah Taourit (Kashbah es un tipo de fortificación) está considerada una de las kasbahs mejor conservadas de Marruecos. Así que si queréis hacer una inmersión total a la historia de Marruecos, lo recomiendo completamente.

Ouarzazate is a city where we spent only few hours (we were passing by, heading to the dessert) and I believe it has much much potential. In fact, Ouarzazate is commonly known as The Desert’s Gate.
The Kashab Taourit (a Kashbah is a type of fortification) is considered to be one of the best kept kashbahs in Morocco. So if you’d like to make a total immersion into Morocco’s history, I would definitely recomend you to go over there.
And also, Have you ever been to Morocco? Would you recommend me to visit any other places in that beautiful African country?
